Butternut (Beta-carotene, Vitamin E)

A very popular first baby food due to its sweet buttery taste, butternut is rich in several antioxidant phytonutrients from the carotenoid group. These carotenoids which give the squash its orange colour, help protect against cancer and boost your child’s immune system. The beta-carotene is both a potent carotenoid and the plant form of vitamin A which is needed by your child for healthy skin and vision, as well as for its antioxidant qualities. Antioxidant phytonutrients and antioxidant vitamins work together to further multiply the level of protection that a particular food gives the immune system.
